Accessibility

ACCESSIBILITY AT ÉCOLE JOHN HENDERSON

As part of the Standards for Student Services, The Public Schools Act requires schools to provide accessibility information to parents new to the school division.

At École John Henderson Middle School our building has accommodations to provide accessibility for our students to access all learning areas.  Both the North and South stairwell are equipped with a chair lift to allow access between the main floor and the lower level.   Our school is also equipped with a key-access elevator that can be utilized to move from the lower, second and third floors.

Our fenced school field can be accessed directly behind our building or through entryways on the Northwest and Southwest corner.

Our school has one reserved space at the rear of the parking lot that will accommodate entrance through the back doors closest to the gymnasium.
