Your Child's First Report Card
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The beginning of the school year has flown by, and the first reporting period is quickly approaching. We hope you’ve had ongoing communication from your child and their teacher so you have a good sense of how they’re progressing. The report card is an important way we document that process in a more formal manner.
As you know, we’ve been steadily transitioning to the new student information system (SIS), and we’re continuing our work to ensure it meets not only our needs, but yours, as well. It’s our opinion that the parent portal in the SIS requires further work, and making use of it at this time may cause unnecessary confusion among parents and guardians.
To avoid such confusion, each student’s first report card will be emailed to the contacts listed on their file. This is simply an interim solution for the first report card, and our goal is to have the parent portal set up by the second reporting period. Please note that the email will come from a “no-reply” address and you may need to check your junk mail on the report card distribution date provided by the school.
If you have any questions, please contact the principal of your child’s school.
Thank you.
