Parent Advisory Council
The River East Collegiate Parent Council support, advise and promote the goals and objectives of River East towards the betterment of the students and the community. Membership is open to all parents of students enrolled in River East collegiate and all residents in the catchment area, who are interested in the education and well being of the students. We provide input to the staff and administration on issues of importance, such as school philosophy, mission and vision; school policies; programs and direction. We also organize special events, which benefit our school and community.
The Parent Advisory Council meets once a month. New members are always welcome. If you are interested in getting involved with a great group of people and help out the school please call and indicate your intentions.

The River East Collegiate Parent Council is excited to offer the Sobeys/Safeway Gift Card Fundraiser for 2024!
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS: Parents, friends and family members order gift cards in denominations of $25.00, $50.00 or $100.00 by completing the attached form and pay you directly. We are pleased to offer the option to e-transfer funds for this fundraiser. Specific instructions below. For families paying by cash or cheque, students will submit one cheque or cash for the total amount with the order form to their homeroom teachers by Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024. We will generate 8% commission from the gift cards that are purchased!
