REC Sobeys/Safeway Gift Card Fundraiser

The River East Collegiate Parent Council is excited to offer the Sobeys/Safeway Gift Card Fundraiser for 2025!

 HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:  Parents, friends and family members order gift cards in denominations of $25.00, $50.00 or $100.00 by completing the attached form and pay you directly.  We are pleased to offer the option to e-transfer funds for this fundraiser. Specific instructions below. For families paying by cash or cheque, students will submit one cheque or cash for the total amount with the order form to their homeroom teachers by Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. We will generate 8% commission from the gift cards that are purchased!

 E-transfers must be sent from a parent/guardian’s account, so that the incoming e-mail notification for PAC matches the name of the parent/guardian who will be attending to pick up and sign for the gift cards. Because these gift cards are equivalent to cash, we will only release the gift cards in person, and with a signature from the purchaser. 

 Spend $100.00 and receive a gift card for $100.00. If you shop at Sobeys or Safeway, this fundraiser costs you nothing – you get FULL VALUE back in gift cards.

 Parents/Guardians will pick up (and sign for) gift cards on the evening of Thursday, November 20th, 2025 in the school lobby. Parents/Guardians will distribute the cards to people who placed orders with them.  Pick up times are listed below.  The gift cards can be used any time in any Sobeys or Safeway store.
