Special Language Credit Option

Louis Riel School Division will be offering the Special Language Credit Examinations on Monday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., at Dakota Collegiate, 661 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, MB. 

All students enrolled in high school programming throughout Manitoba are eligible to apply the write the examinations for a fee of $65.00. This fee will be reimbursed by the River East Transcona School Division after students attend the examination.  

The Special Language Credit application can be accessed on the Dakota Collegiate website on the Special Language Credit page which is under Programs and Services. 

The $65.00 exam fee must be submitted by cheque payable to River East Collegiate or cash. Please bring your cheque/cash to Ms. Resendes in Student Services.  

Applications are not considered complete until the fee is received. The application deadline is Wednesday February 19th, at 3:00 p.m.
