Public Presentations to the Board
Our Board of Trustees holds its regular meetings the first and third Tuesday of each month between September and June. All regular and special meetings of the board are open to the public. Meetings are held in the Allen Rouse Room at the RETSD Administration Offices, 589 Roch St. The public portion of the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
As your elected officials, our trustees appreciate hearing your viewpoints to help clarify issues and secure opinions, ideas, and information that will be useful in making their decisions. You are welcome to appear before the board as a delegation to make a presentation or present a petition. You are allowed 15 minutes to make your presentation.
If you are an individual, organization, or group who would like to make a presentation or present a petition, you must file a written request with the secretary-treasurer no later than Thursday at 3 p.m. prior to the board meeting at which you want to appear as a delegation. Be sure your request includes a supporting document such as a letter, brief, or statement outlining the matter you wish to speak about. Your written presentation and/or petition will be included as part of the agenda materials provided at the meeting.
Once your request has been received, our secretary-treasurer will advise you when your presentation will be heard and give you further instructions, if necessary.
