Canadian Dental Care Plan Information
Thank you for supporting the Canada Dental Benefit and the new Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Your involvement plays a significant role in raising awareness and improving oral health care for Canadians.
As you may already know, the CDCP is a federally delivered plan that is being rolled out across all provinces and territories. Applications are being accepted in phases, starting with seniors. Persons with a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate and children under 18 will be able to apply online beginning in June 2024. All remaining eligible Canadian residents can apply in 2025.
To help eligible persons with disabilities and children in your community, resources such as fact sheets, a printable poster and shareable social media content are available in the CDCP Stakeholder Kit. You are also encouraged to reach out to us if your organization requires any additional material to promote the plan.
Finally, we are pleased to offer the following virtual CDCP information sessions to organizations like yours. We will provide an overview of the plan, including how to apply, and answer questions from those in attendance.
