School Athletics

The aim is to provide students with planned and balanced programming to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes for physically active and healthy lifestyles. There are three components to the program:

Curricular: this component of the program focuses on the acquisition of skills and abilities in the areas of movement, fitness management and safety and personal/social management.

Intramural: This component of the program offers lunch hour activities to all students (student-teacher games, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, floor hockey, badminton, mini sticks).

Interscholastic: This component of the program provides opportunities for students to further develop their athletic skills and abilities. They also have the opportunity to  compete against other schools in league or tournaments (cross country, volleyball, basketball, indoor track, outdoor track, badminton, cheerleading).
