General School Philosophy

Donwood School is an elementary school within River East Transcona School Division. We are a dual track school providing a rich variety of learning experiences, either in English or German Bilingual programming. Intellectual, social, emotional and physical development are emphasized. Opportunities for student growth and resiliency are nurtured in a safe, co-operative environment. We promote the motto, "Be the best that you can be."

Donwood Schule ist eine Grundschule innerhalb des River East Transcona Schulbetriebs. Unsere Schule bietet eine reichliche Verschiedenheit von Ausbildungserfahrungen an, entweder auf englisch oder durch das deutsch/englisch bilinguale Programm. Intellektuelle, gemeinschaftliche, emotionale, und physische Bereiche werden in den SchülerInnen entwickelt und gepflegt. Die SchülerInnen werden in einer sicheren, kooperativen Umgebung erzogen. Wir fördern das Motto: "be the best that you can be".
