Miles Mac Students Receive Prestigious Awards

RETSD is pleased to congratulate two graduating students from Collège Miles Macdonell Collegiate who have been chosen to receive prestigious awards—Muhammad Ahmed and Kultaj Kaur!

Muhammad has been awarded a TD Scholarship for Community Leadership of up to $70,000 over four years, and he will use this in his pursuit of a computer engineering degree at the University of Manitoba. Since 1995, TD Bank Group has recognized the achievements of 20 outstanding Canadian graduates each year for the mark they have made in their classrooms and beyond, exhibiting leadership skills and making contributions to support change, nurture progress, and help communities thrive. Best of luck to Muhammad as he embarks on his post-secondary journey. We are confident he will reach great heights.

Kultaj has been awarded a BMO Financial Group Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship of $16,000 from the University of Manitoba, where she’s been accepted into the faculty of science. She intends to pursue a medical degree, specializing in and advocating for women’s health. Each year, BMO Financial Group provides six scholarships to exceptional graduates from across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. The recipients are all multi-talented, demonstrate academic giftedness and outstanding leadership potential, and are greatly involved in their communities. We wish Kultaj the very best as she starts down her post-secondary path. We look forward to hearing about her achievements.
