Poetry In Voice Team

Congratulations to our Poetry in Voice team - Heart Barabad, Melissa Pauls and Adam MacDonald for earning FIRST PLACE in the provincial contest!  They each earned $100 cash and I get a cool plaque to display!

Heart Barabad has been selected as TOP THREE for the NATIONAL CONTEST!   She will be flown to Vancouver to compete at The Centre on May 15th.  She had already earned $250 as a top 12 and is guaranteed $1000 as 3rd, but can win up to $3000 as 1st.  She is an absolutely lovely hard-working student who deserves all these accolades, so please cheer her on if she is quietly sitting in your class!
