Accessibility

"Standards for Student Services," a section of The Public Schools Act, requires schools to provide accessibility information to parents new to the school division. 

Dr. F.W.L. Hamilton School is located on one level and all rooms within the building are accessible by wheelchair.   Our school is equipped with a grooming room for students that require this additional support.  The school playground has a flat tarmac area in the front of the building that is accessible to all students.  The side and back playground zones are flat, grassy areas.  Access to the building from the back hut areas, where stairs are located,  is available by wheelchair with a ramp system. 

Dr. Hamilton School has one designated handicapped parking spot located in the staff parking lot off of Henderson Highway.
