Congratulations to the RETSD students and staff who were honoured by the Manitoba Council for Exceptional Children on February 29 at their annual Yes I Can! Awards ceremony. The awards were created to acknowledge the achievements of children and youth with disabilities and to overcome barriers caused by disabilities or public misconceptions.
This year, seven RETSD students were presented with awards. Frodo Crow, from Murdoch MacKay Collegiate, received an award in the category of self-advocacy.
