OUR LIBRARY
Welcome to our school library
Welcome to the library and to our program of information literacy. We believe that every student should have the skills necessary to navigate in today's information-rich society. Determining information needs, recognizing and selecting appropriate resources - whether print or online and managing the information are fundamental skills needed for successful academic research.

Program Description
Our library program strives to develop students' research skills and encourage reading through the collaboration of our classroom teachers and teacher-librarian. Parents are welcome to visit our library and select books to read with their children. It offers a quiet place for students to study, do homework or read. It houses a large selection of up-to-date informational books, reference materials, vertical files, periodicals and Internet access.
The library is fully automated and the library staff will assist students in searching online using computer terminals. A computer lab is available in the library for students to search on the Internet, search for periodicals through EBSCOhost and use word-processing programs.
