Community School Association

Who we are… We are an association made up of the parents and guardians of Angus McKay students. CSA stands for Community School Association.

What we do… Our mission is to support community building and learning at Angus McKay. We do this by raising funds to support teachers and learning initiatives. We organize events for members of the school community to meet and build relationships. The CSA liaises with school staff and teachers.

Fundraisers... Fundraising allows the CSA to support learning and community building at Angus McKay. All CSA initiatives and events are made possible because of fundraising.

Events we hold... Hot lunch days, annual school fun nights, teacher appreciations, and other events.

How you can become involved... We are always looking to have more people involved! Monthly meetings are open to any member of the Angus McKay community. You can also volunteer at CSA events or in the classroom.

We meet...  General meetings are held in the school library at 6:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month.

Volunteers... Angus McKay encourages parents to be involved as volunteers in the school. We would love to have you volunteer at CSA events or in the classroom. There are many ways to be involved - let us know how you can contribute!

In keeping with divisional policy, all volunteers are required to complete a child abuse registry check. All volunteers are also expected to sign a divisional pledge of confidentiality.
