Westview Surpasses Fundraising Goal for Terry Fox

As part of the annual Terry Fox Walk, school principal Mr. Hadath agreed to a pie in the face if the fundraising goal of $400 was achieved.

On September 25, staff and students reflected on who they would take part in the Terry Fox event for and walked around the neighbourhood with those intentions. They reconvened in the gym to reveal whether or not the fundraising goal of $400 was met. Not only was the goal reached, but the Westview community raised $638.95 for cancer research! Mr. Hadath was a good sport and fulfilled his end of the bargain. This was all in good fun to learn about the legendary Terry Fox and supporting charity. Well done, Westview!
